Garden Design & Landscape Construction – Belrose
The Brief
Client wanted to increase usable space in the garden, increase wildlife visitation and habitat, along with making the garden safer for their kids.
Our Approach
We began with some clearing and a retaining wall in an overgrown corner of the garden to open up a whole new space for planting. We added a timber and wire balustrade above an existing block wall for safety. We also added corten steel edging in parts to add form to the garden and planted out with both native and edible species.
Outcomes
A new planting area now filled with fruit trees and companion plants
A striking timber and wire balustrade built with cypress pine
Native plantings to increase plant diversity and create habitiat
Edging adds form and structure to the garden
